On with the show.

We had breakfast in a little town. They have a machine that squeezed fresh orange juice for us. Lovely.
We bought enough that we had lunch also. We traveled through several small towns one of which advertised itself as "encanto". After seeing a skull on a window sill I wondered if we needed to cast out the enchantment.
We went up another ridge the crest of which was a military area, but at the top was a cross with a pile of stones. We set our packs down to get a drink and noticed that many of the stones were memorials. Some painted, some written in sharpie, some out of grief, some out of warm memories.

100 yards further and we could see Burgos off in the distance. The close edge of the city was probably 15 km away.
We even walked by the Bridgestone manufacturing facility in Burgos. It is very large and quite old. The outside looked well maintained.
We crossed through the middle of Burgos. I don't much like City hiking in unfamiliar places. We were both a bit intense, but eventually found the municipal alburgue.
This is the view from the 6th floor. We are now settled in to the dormitory with a group of 20 school children.
Many blessings to you all.
